Last week’s Sony World Photography Awards brought a triumph for Sophie Gamand and her series Wet Dog. Earlier this year, Sophie generously shared the story with us, not only of the series Wet Dog, but of her development of her photography career, and how the day she shot this series changed everything for her.

I and the rest of the PhotographyTricks crew congratulate Sophie on her award for the Portrait category, and her continued and ongoing success with this wonderful series. We thank her again for enthusiastically sharing her story with us, and for allowing us to follow along.
